You’ve become fairly adept with your DSLR and it’s whet your appetite to do more, understand more, have more control.
Now you’re ready for a ride back to the past to try your hand at film photography. That’s right FILM!
In this workshop we’ll cover the why’s and what-for’s of photography, all those technical aspects. Then we’ll load some film into a 35mm film camera and go out and about to create some photos.
Once the roll is fully exposed we’ll head in to the darkroom to develop your film. Once the film has dried we’ll scan it so you can take home both the film and the digital files. Duration: 8 Hours
35mm cameras, film, developing equipment, developing chemicals, scanner, USB Stick are all provided! You just need to bring yourself and a desire to make create pictures.
Courses are held at Down East Photography in downtown Ellsworth, Maine.
